Cookie at 1 year old Cookie was acquired for her great Personality, excellent lines and looks. Her eyes cerf'd "normal". I take all of our dogs to NC vet school to be health checked to ensure that they are of the strict health requirement for breeding sound dogs. Cookie is currently training in Rapid City for future obedience and show titles. I was approached at local training center recently and was told she is "show" or confirmation dog. Cookie is a really pretty and sweet golden. Cookie will continue to train until her puppies are due at the end of August. April 2008 Buried in Cookies lineage are many of the finest American Golden lines: of Gold Rush, Topbrass, Sungold, Tighahoe, Cal-Vo, Laurel, Asterling, Beckwith, and many more. She looks like a hunting golden but you can tell by her looks she has show lines. Cookie has the overall balance we seek in breeding for the "good" of the breed. . Cookie does meet the standards for Goldens set by the GRCA. Cookie is a dream girl....who never ceases to amaze me!!Cookie's Health Clearances done at NC state:
We also train our dogs ourselves in basic and advanced obedience classes before the age of one year. Cookie shows great potential to be a agility and obedience champ. She does retrieve birds. She also has excellent tracking ability.
Cookie has many Hunt and Show lines in her pedigree. Cookie is example of how a golden should be. She has a wonderful profile and temperament.
We breed only American goldens lines at this time but are expanding our program to include English or European lines. It is hard to aquire a puppy from Europe these day you know because of all the turmoil abroad. Please check the GRCA standards for Puppy Buyers before you purchase your next Golden. |
